Taylor Slovak is an experienced professional with a strong background in nonprofit development, volunteer management, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Development Program and Trustee Coordinator at The Nature Conservancy since April 2023, Taylor has previously held significant roles such as Founder of DFW Sewing Relief, leading volunteer efforts to produce PPE during the Covid-19 pandemic, and Program Director at Small Biz Cares, where innovative strategies resulted in considerable increases in community participation. Taylor's prior experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor and Council Liaison for the City of Dallas, a position on the City of Dallas MLK Advisory Board, and roles in political campaign management. Early career accomplishments include developing customer service and sales departments at VARIDESK and providing HR support at Gemmy Industries Corporation. Taylor attended the University of North Texas and Dallas College, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Visual Art.
