Travis York

Travis York is a dedicated communications professional currently serving as the Communications Director at HerPivot and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for "Gender, Sex, and Power" at The Ohio State University. With a strong background in academia and social media, Travis has held various roles, including Social Media Intern at the Society For Disability Studies and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, where responsibilities included guiding discussions on women's and gender studies. Travis's experience also includes a fellowship at Small Girls PR, where innovative brand awareness strategies were developed, and a Special Collections Blogging Assistant role at Princeton University, focused on queer history research. Educationally, Travis is pursuing a PhD in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at The Ohio State University and has previously earned an MA from the University of Toronto and a BA from Princeton University.
