Kyle Utsumi

Kyle Utsumi is a highly experienced water polo coach currently serving as the Associate Head Coach at Punahou School since August 2022 and as the Women’s Water Polo Coach at The Olympic Club since November 2018. Utsumi has a rich history in coaching, including roles at Stanford University Women's Water Polo, where significant accomplishments include contributing to multiple NCAA championships and runner-up finishes from 2010 to 2022. Utsumi's previous roles also include 16 years at Stanford Water Polo Club as Associate Head Coach, and esteemed positions with the United States Water Polo Inc, where Utsumi led the Women’s Junior National Team to a gold medal at the 2005 Junior World Championship and served as a Video Scout Coach for two Olympic Games. Utsumi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Arts in Sociology, both from Stanford University.
