Jada Y.

Jada Y. serves as the Partnerships Manager at The Opportunity Network since September 2023, bringing extensive experience in educational counseling and community engagement. Previously, Jada held positions as an Academic Counselor and Family Engagement Coordinator at Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn, and as a Community and Internship Coordinator for New Visions for Public Schools. Additionally, Jada has experience as a Program Coordinator at both NYU Lutheran and Sauti Yetu Center for African Women, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing youth empowerment programs and facilitating college and career exploration. Jada's early career includes internships with the Teachers Retirement System and the New York State Division of the Budget. Education includes a Master of Education degree from Brooklyn College, a Master’s degree in Africana Studies from the University at Albany, and a Bachelor’s degree in African-American/Black Studies from SUNY New Paltz.
