Emily Subden

Emily Subden serves as the Communications Manager for the ALIGN project at the Overseas Development Institute since July 2018. Additionally, Emily holds roles as an Editor and type-setter for UNESCO-UNEVOC since June 2023 and previously worked as a Communications Consultant for the UNESCO Institute for Statistics from December 2021 to July 2022. Earlier experience includes positions at UNESCO-UNEVOC, UNICEF, and Oxfam, where Emily focused on digital communications, social media management, and digital campaigning. Emily earned a Master’s degree in Education, Gender, and International Development from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society from 2017 to 2020 and a Bachelor's degree in Language and Communications from Cardiff University from 2002 to 2005.
