Jono Child has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jono started their career at Deloitte UK, where they worked in Audit and Advisory for two years before transitioning into consulting and Operational Due Diligence. Jono was promoted to Manager within six months. After their time at Deloitte, Jono joined Shelftaught as a Founding Member, where they were involved in product development, fundraising, user growth, and overall business performance. Jono then joined Uniplaces as a Financial Analyst, responsible for management and board reporting, modeling, budgeting, and business performance analysis. Jono later became the Head of BI and FPA, focusing on metrics, reporting automation, and proactive analysis for the CEO and Leadership Team. Currently, Jono is the Head of Data and Performance Marketing at Plum Guide.
Jono Child graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they attended Wynberg Boys High School from 2002 to 2006. In 2016, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) from SAICA CA(SA).
