Nuhaim Amirdeen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Nuhaim started their career as a Programmer at CompuShack, where they gained experience in software development, client support, and sales. Nuhaim then worked as a Technical Support Consultant at Panache Business Solutions, focusing on developing Human Resource Management applications for government organizations.
Nuhaim later transitioned to the banking sector, working as an Analyst Programmer at ANZ Bank's Group Human Resources department. Nuhaim was responsible for streamlining the application software. Following this, they joined McDonnell Douglas Information Systems as an Analyst Programmer, providing frontline support for the MDIS HOMER hospital applications.
Nuhaim further expanded their expertise by taking on the role of Analyst Programmer (contract developer) at Austin Hospital, where they incorporated workload measurement standards and interfaced new automatic analyzers to the MDIS HOMER host system.
Nuhaim's career then took him to King Saud University Hospitals, where they served as a Senior Systems Analyst, implementing the HOMER HIS and enhancing the Homer software according to the university's requirements.
Nuhaim later joined IBA Health (iSoft) as a Senior Systems Implementation Engineer, delivering ibaPAS and WebPAS solutions, supporting HL7 interfacing and electronic billing. Nuhaim was involved in notable projects, including the Johns Hopkins Cancer Hospital in Singapore.
Nuhaim's next professional endeavor was with Healthscope, where they held the position of Systems Integration Manager/Project Manager/Senior Business Analyst. Nuhaim successfully managed IT projects and initiated the implementation of projects like WebPAS and Eclipse for Healthscope hospitals.
Nuhaim continued to progress in their career and joined St Vincent's Health Australia, initially as a Project Manager - Digital & Technology, and later assuming roles as Enterprise Applications and Integration Team Leader, Applications & Integration Manager, and M365 and Integration Team Leader.
Currently, Nuhaim is employed as the Parkville EMR Integration Lead at The Royal Children's Hospital. With their extensive experience in IT project management, systems integration, and team leadership, Nuhaim has developed a comprehensive skillset that has contributed to their professional success.
Nuhaim Amirdeen has a Master of Business Administration (Computing) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Charles Sturt University. They also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management (Information Technology) from the same university. Prior to that, Nuhaim earned a Diploma in Systems Design from the National Institute of Business Management - Colombo and completed their GCE A/L at Royal College Colombo. In addition to their formal education, Nuhaim has obtained various certifications, including Inclusive Leadership, Leading from the Middle, Top 10 Rules for Highly Effective Leadership, and ITIL 4 foundation certificate in ITSM from PeopleCert. They have also completed several online courses and trainings related to web design and development, SharePoint, project management, cloud computing, and leadership. They are a certified Rhapsody Professional through Lyniate.
