Marcia Bache

Marcia Bache is a Senior Health Communication Specialist at The Scientific Consulting Group, Inc., since May 2016, where Marcia co-manages public health communication projects for the Federal government, particularly focusing on diabetes, nutrition, and related diseases for the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Diseases. Previously, between September 2000 and March 2016, Marcia served as a Senior Communications Specialist at the American Institutes for Research, collaborating with various health organizations, including the CDC and the National Institutes, to develop strategic communication initiatives. Marcia's career began at Washington Hospital Center from June 1989 to June 2000 as a Senior Clinical Nutrition Specialist, where clinical nutrition programs were created and managed to enhance patient care. Marcia holds a Master of Medical Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition from Emory University School of Medicine.
