Sophie Kohn has gained extensive work experience in the field of writing and comedy. Sophie'smost recent role was as a Comedy Writing Instructor at The Second City, starting in March 2019. In the same year, they also worked as a Writer for CBC Radio One's "q" show. Prior to that, Sophie worked as a Freelance Writer for CHATELAINE magazine and Penguin Random House.
Sophie's experience in the writing industry includes roles such as a Humour Writer for The New Yorker and a Comedy writer/editor for CBC/Radio-Canada. Sophie has also worked as a Writer for Outpost Magazine and CTV News. In terms of production, Sophie served as a Radio Producer for The Banff Centre.

Sophie Kohn pursued their education in a consistent and focused manner. From 2000 to 2004, they attended the University of Toronto - Victoria University, where they obtained an Honours B.A. degree in English. Following this, they enrolled at Ryerson University from 2004 to 2006, completing a post-graduate degree in Journalism. Displaying a diverse range of interests, they then attended The Second City from 2007 to 2009 to engage in the Conservatory Program, where they specialized in improv and sketch comedy. Sophie's educational journey showcases a dedication to both traditional academic subjects and creative ventures.
