Vanessa Gomez

Vanessa Gomez is an experienced education professional currently serving as a College Counselor, College Program Associate, High School Mathematics Teacher, and Student Life Counselor at The SEED School of Miami since August 2020. Prior to this, Vanessa worked as a Student Success Coach at City Year, where responsibilities included developing academic interventions and organizing diversity awareness events for middle school students. Vanessa also held multiple grant assistant roles at the Office of International Education and Development at Appalachian State University, assisting international participants in various educational and cultural programs. Earlier experience includes roles as a Brand Associate at Old Navy and a Cashier at Town Market. Vanessa earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Appalachian State University and participated in a study program at Pontifica Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso in 2018.
