Daniel G. Fries

Mr. Fries is a Senior Vice President in Segal’s New York office with over 26 years of experience. He has held leadership positions including Co-Head of the New York office, Chief Operating Officer, Member of the Board, and Member of the Board’s Compensation and Audit Committees.

Mr. Fries has specialized expertise in qualified and non-qualified retirement plan design, deferred compensation funding strategies, defined benefit, and defined contribution retirement design, broad-based pay, short- and long-term incentive plans, and executive compensation. He has extensive experience consulting on mergers and acquisitions and has served as a professional advisor to clients in several public transactions. Mr. Fries serves a diverse set of clients including large public and private multinational companies and non-profits and has served boards, management, and leaders at professional services firms and companies in the automotive, sports and entertainment, and education industries.
