Peter Kavanaugh

Peter Kavanaugh has a diverse work experience in the insurance and consulting industry. Peter started their career as an Underwriter at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1987. Peter then worked as an Underwriter at Travelers Insurance from 1991 to 1994. After that, they joined Prudential Insurance as a Senior Underwriter from 1994 to 1996. Peter then moved on to Towers Perrin as a Consultant, where they led project teams and generated new business opportunities from 1996 to 2001. From 2001 onwards, Peter has been working at Segal Consulting, where they have held various roles, including Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Consultant. Currently, they serve as the Vice President at Segal Consulting, managing a team and consulting on employee benefit issues.

Peter Kavanaugh attended Cheboygan Area High School from 1976 to 1980. Peter then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
