Reweti Kohere

Reweti Kohere is a staff writer at The Spinoff, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to that, they were a reporter at the National Business Review from March 2019 to August 2021. Reweti has also worked as a student journalist at Massey University from February 2018 to October 2018, and as a senior discovery advisor and discovery advisor at the Ministry of Social Development from April 2017 to February 2019 and November 2013 to January 2016, respectively. In addition, they have served as a head tutor for LAWS 122 at Victoria University of Wellington from July 2013 to November 2015, and as a waiter at Tinakori Bistro from September 2012 to July 2013.

Reweti Kohere began their educational career by completing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Victoria University of Wellington. Reweti then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government at The Australian National University. After that, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism at Massey University.
