Megan "MJ" Reynolds

Megan "MJ" Reynolds has a diverse work experience in the education and sports fields. Megan "MJ" is currently working as a Teacher/Dean of Social Emotional Learning at Digital Pioneers Academy. Prior to that, they served as a Basketball Operations Assistant and Basketball Coach and Trainer at The St. James.

From 2019 to 2021, Reynolds was a 2nd Grade Teacher, Middle School Physical Education Teacher, Elective Teacher, and Basketball Coach at Annunciation Catholic School. During their time there, they created curriculum-based lesson plans, managed a classroom environment based on Catholic teachings, and developed mentor and sports curriculum for middle school physical education.

Before joining Annunciation Catholic School, Reynolds worked at Friendship Public Charter School from 2017 to 2019 as a Paraprofessional and Basketball Coach. Megan "MJ" was responsible for assisting and teaching in everyday classroom operations, developing classroom rules and culture, and teaching pre-kindergarten math skills.

In 2018, they briefly served as the Assistant Director of Game Day Operations for the DC Divas Women's Professional Football Team, where they developed and managed game day operations and assisted with the production and writing of game day scripts.

In 2016, Reynolds was a Girl Scouts Unit Leader at Girl Scouts Nation's Capital Community Based Camps, where they assisted in planning and implementing camp unit programs and worked directly with assigned campers as a role model.

Megan "MJ"'searlier experience includes working as an Enrichment Coach at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy in 2014 and as a Basketball Coach at National Cathedral School in 2013, where they coached junior varsity and middle school basketball teams and served as a varsity assistant coach. Overall, Reynolds has demonstrated expertise in education, coaching, and program development.

Megan "MJ" Reynolds attended Howard University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Megan "MJ"'smajor was Human Health Performance and their minor was Psychology, with a focus on Sports Management.
