Brynn Hausz

Brynn Hausz has extensive work experience in government and legislative roles. Brynn currently serves as the Director of Council Operations for the City of Saint Paul since 2022. Previously, they worked at the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2007 to 2022, holding various positions such as Legislative Director to the Speaker, Director of Caucus Services, Executive Assistant to the DFL Caucus and Speaker, and Research Consultant. Their responsibilities included organization and planning of orientation retreats, working in state government and the legislative process, constituent contact, legislation research, and tracking. Additionally, they served as a research consultant, providing policy analysis and staff support for committee hearings.

Brynn Hausz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota in 2005. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Urban and Regional Planning with a specialization in Land Use and Urban Design at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.
