Himel Dev is a Senior Research Scientist at The Trade Desk, with a strong background in machine learning and research. Prior experience includes serving as an Applied Research Scientist at Snap Inc., where Himel developed machine learning models for various business applications, and as a Research Intern at the same company, focusing on the adoption dynamics of app features. Himel has also interned at Visa, creating a deep learning workflow to enhance restaurant profile generation, and at Adobe, where an outlier-aware pattern mining method was designed to improve user task identification. Earlier academic contributions include a role as a Lecturer at Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology and a Programmer position where a microscopic traffic simulator was developed.
