Andrew Thesing

Andrew Thesing is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience at Travelers since July 2009. As the Business Insurance Cross-Line Initiatives Group Lead, Andrew has spearheaded various initiatives, including the creation of a centralized pricing team focused on actuarial reporting and rate management, growing the team from two to eight members. Andrew played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic, overseeing rate adequacy analysis and developing strategic tools for monitoring rate changes. As Cyber Pricing Lead, Andrew constructed the pricing framework for Cyber products and was instrumental in early rate increase strategies during the ransomware crisis. Andrew's background also includes significant contributions to the Financial Institutions Pricing segment and participation in the Actuarial Leadership Development Program. Andrew earned a BA in Mathematics and Financial Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2009.
