David Berglund

David Berglund is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced analytics across various industries, including finance, healthcare, and renewable energy. Currently serving as the Head of Data, Analytics & Research for Business Insurance at Travelers, David leads initiatives to modernize data ecosystems and drive business impact through AI innovations. As a guest lecturer for Wharton Executive Education, David shares expertise in AI and machine learning within financial services. Previous roles include CEO and founder of Itasca Labs, Global Head of Artificial Intelligence at FIS, and Senior Vice President at U.S. Bank, where David developed strategic AI frameworks that enhanced enterprise efficiency. David holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a BS in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.
