Laura Ahmed, MPH, is an experienced marketing and communication professional currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communication at The University Club of Washington, DC, since April 2019. Laura has a strong background in health and wellness, previously holding positions such as Athletic Director and Placement Coordinator at various organizations, where responsibilities included managing operations, developing partnerships, and enhancing member experiences. As the creator of The Atypical Podcast, Laura shares personal insights following a significant life event while navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Laura holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from The University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the same institution.
