Amy Wilegus

Amy Wilegus has had a diverse work experience in the field of internal audit. Amy started their career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young in 1996 and later joined Morgan Keegan as a Senior Internal Auditor. After that, they joined ServiceMaster, where they held various roles such as Senior Internal Auditor-Senior Manager, IT Operations Security and Compliance Analyst, and Director of Internal Audit. In these roles, they were responsible for establishing IT audit departments, implementing compliance programs, and conducting risk assessments. Amy'smost recent position was at the University of Tennessee, where they served as Audit Director and later as the Executive Director of Internal Audit. In these positions, they led audit functions for various departments and operations, implemented risk rating systems, and achieved significant accomplishments in audit and consulting engagements.

Amy Wilegus holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting with a minor in IT, which they obtained from Millsaps College between 1991 and 1995. Amy later pursued a Master's degree in Accounting from The University of Memphis between 1995 and 1996. In terms of additional certifications, Amy obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 1997, followed by the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) and Certified in Risk & Information Control (CRISC) certifications from ISACA in 2001. Finally, in 2008, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
