Michael Beierlein

Michael Beierlein is a Professor and Associate Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) since September 2007, where also serves as a Regular Member and Director of the Neuroscience Graduate Program at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Previously, Michael Beierlein was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard Medical School from 2002 to 2007 and at Columbia University from 2000 to 2002. Early career experiences include participation in specialized programs at Marine Biological Laboratory and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in 1995 and 1994, respectively. Michael Beierlein holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from Brown University and a Diplom in Biology from the University of Tübingen.
