Deborah L. Duffy, Ph.D., is the Director for Institutional Research and Effectiveness. Dr. Duffy oversees institutional assessment efforts of the University’s effectiveness in achieving its Mission and institutional priorities. She is also responsible for ensuring compliance with externally driven assessment initiatives mandated by government and accrediting agencies. Dr. Duffy provides information to support university decision-making through a variety of analytic activities, data gathering tasks, and research projects.
Before joining the University of the Arts, Dr. Duffy served as the Assistant Provost for Learning Outcomes in the Division of Academic Affairs and as Senior Research Analyst in the Division of Planning and Research at Thomas Edison State University, in Trenton, NJ. Prior to that, she was a Research Specialist in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Duffy has also served as an adjunct instructor at West Chester University and Lafayette College in PA.
Dr. Duffy received her Ph.D. in Psychological and Brain Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University and her BS in Psychology from Lafayette College.
