Pauline Grierson

Pauline Grierson is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in biogeochemistry and plant ecology. Since 2001, Pauline serves as a Professor and the Director of the West Australian Biogeochemistry Centre at The University of Western Australia, focusing on stable isotope science and its applications in environmental and ecological research. Prior roles include Research Fellow at both The University of Western Australia from 1995 to 2000 and the University of Florida from 1993 to 1996, where Pauline conducted research on forest nutrition and phosphorus biogeochemistry. Early academic contributions also include carbon storage assessments for Victorian forests at the University of Melbourne from 1991 to 1992. Pauline holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biogeochemistry and Plant Ecology and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Botany and Earth Science, both from the University of Melbourne.
