Michael Watkins

Michael Watkins has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Michael is currently working as a Data Engineer at The Upright Project since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Delivery Engineer at Enfuce from February 2022 to January 2023. From October 2020 to February 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kodit.io.

Before that, Michael had multiple roles at Softagram from March 2019 to October 2020, including Software Specialist, ML/AI Thesis Worker, and Back End Developer. Michael also worked at the University of Tuebingen as a Tutor and Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft from October 2016 to March 2019.

Michael Watkins has a diverse educational background. Michael first attended University of Vienna in 2010 and obtained a Certificate in German Language and Literature. In 2011, they briefly studied Business Administration at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). From 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages at University of Central Florida. Following that, they enrolled at University of Tampere 1925-2018 in 2015 and studied Russian and European Studies (International Relations) until 2016. Michael then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computational Linguistics at University of Tübingen from 2016 to 2019. Their most recent educational experience was at University of Oulu in 2020 and 2021, where they concentrated on Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence.
