Leona Kay

Leona Kay has a diverse range of experience in the retail industry. Leona is currently serving as the Trade Marketing Lead at The Very Group since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Pets at Home as a Proposition Manager from October 2019 to October 2021. Leona also held the position of Buying & Supply Chain Director at LOFT.uk from September 2017 to October 2019. Leona has worked in various roles at different companies, including Head of Trade Planning (Interim) at The Original Factory Shop in 2017, Commercial Manager at Pets at Home from 2015 to 2017, Furniture Buyer at Shop Direct from 2011 to 2015, Senior Furniture Buyer at B&M Retail from 2009 to 2011, and Buyer-Furniture, Bathrooms, Tiles & Flooring at Focus DIY from 2006 to 2009. Leona started their career as a Furniture Buyer at Findel Education in 2005 and then worked as an Assistant Buyer - Upholstery / Furniture at Shop Direct from 2003 to 2005.

Leona Kay obtained a BA/Hons in 3 Dimensional Design from the University of Central Lancashire from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Foundation degree in Art and Design at Macclesfield College from 1996 to 1997. Leona also pursued A Levels in Art and Design, English Lang/Lit, and Media Studies at The Ridge College from 1994 to 1996.
