David Madrid

David Madrid has a diverse work experience in the field of baking and pastry. David currently holds the position of Head Baker/Executive Pastry Chef at The Village Dallas since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Dallas County Community College starting from August 2019.

David also gained experience as a Baking Instructor and in Research and Development and Operations at the San Francisco Baking Institute from October 2016 to February 2019. Before that, they owned and worked as a Baker at Wheat & Sour from February 2015 to December 2016.

In 2014, David worked as an Assistant Pastry Cook & Baker and as a Bread and Pastry Intern at the San Francisco Baking Institute. David also worked as a Pastry Cook at Patisserie Philippe from August 2013 to February 2014.

David also holds a BA in Business Economics and Chinese from UC Santa Barbara, which they completed from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, David obtained a Food Safety Manager certification from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP) in November 2018.
