Wojciech Musial

Principal Member Of Research Staff at The Voleon Group

Wojciech Musial is a Principal Member of Research Staff at The Voleon Group, a position held since March 2016. Prior to this, Wojciech worked as a Data Scientist at Quid from June 2014 to February 2016 and served as a Graduate Student in theoretical physics at UC Berkeley between September 2013 and December 2014. Wojciech also contributed as a Strategy Developer at TrexQuant in 2013, where medium-frequency statistical arbitrage strategies were developed. Earlier academic research included an Undergraduate Researcher role at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2011 to 2013, focusing on the AdS-CFT correspondence and black hole dynamics, and as a Research Assistant at Tufts University from 2009 to 2010, developing algorithms for neutrino scattering event analysis. Educational credentials consist of a Master of Arts in Theoretical Physics from UC Berkeley (2014), a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from MIT (2013), and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from UWC Adriatic (2007).
