Shanna Giora-Gorfajn

Associate at The Wagner Law Group

Shanna's practice focuses on family law, estate planning, and probate administration. Her domestic relations experience includes matters of complex property valuation and division; child custody, visitation, and removal; and modification of alimony and child support. She believes that an objective viewpoint can bring clarity to emotionally charged situations, and she often uses quantitative analysis to aid her clients in understanding the issues at stake and making optimal decisions.

As a member of the Boston Agunah Taskforce, Shanna works with attorneys, rabbis, academics, and divorcing couples to address extortionate tactics and emotional abuse stemming from the intersection of religion and civil law in divorce. She also volunteers for the Family Law Project of the Women's Bar Foundation, which provides pro bono representation to low-income victims of domestic violence.

Before joining The Wagner Law Group, Shanna was an associate at Smith Duggan Buell & Rufo LLP and S. R. Labby LLP (formerly Greenfield Labby LLP) and also served for two years as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. She has also worked as a speechwriter for Rotary International.
