Catherine Pruett

Catherine Pruett is an experienced music educator and director with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a piano specialist and elementary music educator at Benjamin Foulois Creative and Performing Arts Academy since August 2019, Catherine's extensive background includes roles as Director of Music at Arlington Temple United Methodist Church, where responsibilities include choir directing and accompaniment. Catherine has been an alto with The Washington Chorus since August 2015 and has held teaching positions in various schools, including Prince George's County Public Schools and District of Columbia Public Schools. Additionally, Catherine has experience as a ballet pianist for The Washington Ballet and has a solid educational foundation with degrees in music and education from institutions such as Southern Methodist University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
