Darclee Popa

Darclee Popa has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as the Director of Lab Quality Services at The Wine Group since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of R&D and Innovation at Super Store Industries from January 2019 to December 2022. Before that, they were the Director of R&D at Cacique, Inc. from April 2016 to January 2019, and the Director of R&D at SunOpta from August 2015 to April 2016. Darclee also held the position of Product Development Manager at Safeway from July 2011 to August 2015. Darclee's earlier work experience includes roles as a Food Scientist at Dean Foods from 2005 to 2011, a Sr. Engineer at the District Department for Improvement and Reproduction in Livestock Engineering Bacau-Romania from December 1999 to June 2000, and an Engineer at the Breeding and Research Station of Live-Stock Bacau-Romania from November 1995 to September 1999.

Darclee Popa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science/Food Science from Iasi University of Life Sciences (IULS) from 1990 to 1995. Darclee further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Food Science/Dairy Chemistry from Michigan State University between 2001 and 2004.
