Amanda Tenorio, MSW, serves as the Break the Cycle Program Manager and Domestic Violence Victim Advocate at The Women's Center since May 2015. With a decade of experience as a motivational speaker, Amanda shares their personal story as a domestic violence survivor to advocate for victims. Previous roles include Case Manager at Shelter House, Inc. and Resident Advocate at LCSJ/LAWS, providing intensive case management and crisis intervention support. Amanda also has experience as a Victim Advocate in the US Army, assisting victims during critical legal processes. Amanda holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Social Work from Oakland University.
