Lance Baird

Lance Baird has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lance began their career as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2004 and later became an Assistant Branch Manager. In 2007, they transitioned to Farmers Insurance, where they worked as a Liability Claims Representative. From 2007 to 2009, Lance served as a Project Procurement Manager at Jacobs Engineering.

In 2009, Lance joined Wonderful Orchards as a Business Analyst, where they managed the bidding process for capital purchases, oversaw supply chain processes, and conducted detailed analysis using Tableau and Oracle Business Intelligence systems. Lance also played a role in fleet management and regulatory compliance.

Since 2014, Lance has been with The Wonderful Company, where they have held various positions. As a Corporate Safety Manager - Technical Programs, they successfully implemented the Enablon EH&S software system and actively participated in the software selection process. Lance also managed design documentation processes for the software build and implementation.

Lance then moved on to become an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at The Wonderful Company, where they developed the corporate audit process and protocols for EHS initiatives. Lance ensured comprehensive coverage of environmental, health, and safety aspects and facilitated problem-solving and action planning.

Currently, Lance holds the position of Director; Environmental, Health and Safety at The Wonderful Company. Lance leads strategic initiatives to promote a safety-first culture, environmental sustainability, and Serious Injury and Fatality prevention. Lance aligns EHS goals with overall business objectives and implements measures for regulatory compliance and employee protection.

Lance Baird earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing from Lamar University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they hold various certifications including ALiCE Certified Instructor - Active Shooter, First Aide/CPR/AED Instructor- Infant, Child, & Adult, California Underground Storage Tank System Operator, and Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt.
