Dan Coddens

Dan Coddens is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of Oaklawn Fitness Center with the YMCA of Battle Creek, MI since February 2023. Prior to this role, Dan was the Director of Operations at Eric Dale Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. from July 2021 to January 2023. Dan's extensive career in education includes serving as the Athletic Director and a Social Studies teacher at Marshall Public Schools from June 1996 to June 2021, along with 16 years as the Head Boys Basketball Coach. Dan began a teaching career at Evart Public Schools, where Dan taught Social Studies and coached basketball and baseball from July 1989 to June 1996. Dan holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Western Michigan University.
