Sam Gilroy

Sam Gilroy is an accomplished artistic director and dance professional with extensive experience in community engagement and support for vulnerable populations. Currently serving as the Artistic Director at Sam G Creates since March 2020, Sam focuses on amplifying female voices through dynamic storytelling and community projects. Alongside this role, involvement with The YOU Trust as a Premier Crew Support Worker since July 2017 highlights a commitment to supporting independent living for individuals with learning difficulties. Previous positions include Social Media Marketer at ZOIELOGIC DANCE THEATRE C.I.C. and Project Manager at Dance Six-0. Sam also worked as an Artistic Director for Nexus Dance Theatre, where intergenerational collaboration and empathy were central. Educationally, Sam holds a Master’s Degree in Dance from the University of Chichester and a Bachelor’s Degree from Falmouth University.
