Kyla Canzater

Kyla Canzater has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Kyla has recently worked as a Social Media Director at theGrio. Prior to this, they were a Health and Wellness Content Creator at Pink Proverb. Kyla also has experience working at Baltimore City Public Schools, where they held roles such as Career Readiness/Career Technology Education (CTE) Program Manager, Digital Media Teacher, and Training Specialist. Additionally, they worked as an Intro to Design and Social Media Adjunct Professor at Sussex County Community College and as a Manager at the Democratic National Committee.

Kyla Canzater obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Georgia State University, where they attended from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Communications - Journalism at Georgetown University from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including Online Marketing Fundamentals and SEO Fundamentals from Lynda.com, which were obtained in August 2016. Kyla also holds an Adobe Certified Associate certification from Adobe, obtained in 2015.
