Nadia O'Shaughnessy has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Nadia currently serves as the Head of Research at Themis. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Think Tank at the same company. In 2020, Nadia was a Consultant at Themis.
Before joining Themis, they were a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission, where they conducted research and analyzed data on EU development programs in Eastern Africa. Nadia also interned at FTI Consulting's Global Risk & Investigations Practice and served as a Research Assistant at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Nadia gained experience as an Economic Affairs Intern at the United Nations in 2018.
In 2017, Nadia was part of the Transatlantic Future Leaders Forum Internship program, interning for a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons. Nadia also worked as a British Embassy Intern at UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) in 2016.
Nadia O'Shaughnessy holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Nadia also has a Master's degree in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Master's degree in International Public Management from Sciences Po. Prior to these degrees, Nadia completed their International Baccalaureate at The British School, Warsaw.
