Maria Kennedy has a diverse work experience in marketing and advertising roles. Maria started their career as a PR Executive at GM Publicity in 2004 and then worked as a Sponsorship & Promotions Coordinator at Independent Radio Sales from 2006 to 2007. Maria then joined the British Fashion Council as a Sponsorship Manager from 2008 to 2011. Maria continued their career at Fuse as an Account Manager from 2011 to 2012 before being promoted to an Account Director from 2012 to 2015. Maria then transitioned to Coach, where they held various marketing positions, including Brand Marketing Manager from 2015 to 2018 and Senior Marketing Manager from 2018 to 2021. Maria also worked at Tapestry as a Senior Marketing Manager from 2021 to 2021. In 2021, Maria joined STRONG ROOTS as the Head of Marketing, UK, and later became the Group Head of Marketing from 2022 to 2023. Maria is currently working as the Marketing Director for UK & Europe at Theory and Helmut Lang since 2023. Additionally, Maria has served as an Advisory Board Member at frkl. from 2021 to 2023.

Maria Kennedy attended Technological University Dublin from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a BA Marketing & Tourism Degree.
