Florian SGARD

Florian SGARD has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of software engineering, artificial intelligence, and research.

From September 2022 to the present, Florian worked as a Software Engineer at Therapanacea, where they were responsible for developing the backend of a CI/CD software using Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes. They also programmed algorithms for image processing and utilized deep learning models for segmentation.

From February 2022 to August 2022, Florian was a Research Engineer AI - NLP & Computer Vision at Novelis.io. In this role, they worked on OCR for handwritten documents, developed NLP models using CNN and LSTM on Pytorch, and utilized YoloV5 and Faster RCNN for object detection. They also worked on data augmentation using GANs and developed a microservice on Docker for creating HTML interfaces from handwritten forms.

Florian's research experience includes working as a Deep Learning MRI Research Assistant at CNRS from May 2021 to September 2021. They focused on developing a new approach to enhancing MRI acquisition time using neural networks and Pytorch. They also worked with Numpy and Skimage for image processing.

Florian also gained experience in teaching as a Private Lesson instructor at Complétude from December 2019 to December 2020.

They worked as a Web Designer from March 2020 to October 2020.

Finally, Florian worked as an Assistant Production at newsteo, an IoT company specializing in connected sensors and measurement management, from June 2020 to July 2020.

Florian SGARD pursued their education in a variety of fields. Florian obtained an Engineer's degree in AI and computer science for medicine from Grenoble INP - Phelma, specializing in deep learning, computer science, and medical imaging, from the years 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the same institution, spanning from 2019 to 2020. Florian also attended CPGE Lycée Thiers for two years starting from 2017, receiving a degree equivalent to previous higher education in the field of sciences. Additionally, Florian completed their secondary education at Saint-Charles high school, where they obtained both the Baccalauréat and Bachillerato (Spanish) qualifications from 2014 to 2017.

Florian also holds two additional certifications. In October 2021, they completed a course on "Deep Learning with PyTorch: Generative Adversarial Network" from Coursera. In December 2020, Florian obtained certification for "Introduction to Data Science in Python" from the same online platform.
