Balasubramanian Srinivasan, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry with over two decades of experience in management and scientific research. Currently serving as the Manager of Chemistry at Thermo Fisher Scientific since February 2014, Balasubramanian oversees scientists and directs investigations into manufacturing failures while implementing sustainable solutions. Previous roles include managerial positions in analytical method development and process development, along with significant experience at Life Technologies and academic institutions such as the University of Minnesota and the University of Toledo. Balasubramanian holds a PhD in Chemistry from Annamalai University, attained between 2000 and 2004, and has a proven track record of driving process improvements, analytical method development, and managing teams to enhance operational efficiency.
