Erica Hirsch

Erica Hirsch is an experienced executive in the life sciences and laboratory chemicals sectors, currently serving as President of Laboratory Chemicals at Thermo Fisher Scientific since July 2010. Throughout a diverse career at Thermo Fisher, Erica has held several key leadership positions including Vice President/General Manager roles overseeing asymptomatic testing solutions, capillary electrophoresis, and portable analytical instruments across a variety of markets. Prior experience includes consulting roles at Covidien and Smith & Nephew Endoscopy, as well as an analytical scientist position at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. Education includes an MBA in Entrepreneurship/Strategy from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
