Joaquin Benavente

Joaquin Benavente currently serves as the Sr. Employer Brand & Events Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, beginning in January 2024. Prior experience includes a tenure at Meta from March 2020 to July 2023, where Joaquin held the role of (Senior) Global Events & Experiences Marketer, successfully leading innovative brand campaigns and event designs, notably organizing the Meta Global Hackathon. Joaquin's career also encompasses roles at Meta as Global Events Marketing Manager and at 2019 Events in various event logistics supervisory positions. Additional experience includes project management at The Recording Academy, where Joaquin oversaw production for major events, as well as roles in events logistics at California State University, Northridge, and management at ALDO SHOES. Joaquin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Industry Studies from California State University, Northridge.
