Kaspar van Den Dries

Kaspar van den Dries is a seasoned professional in pharmaceutical sciences, currently serving as Senior Director of Science and Innovation at Thermo Fisher Scientific since November 2017. Prior to this role, Kaspar held multiple senior positions, including Senior Director of Formulation Sciences at Patheon from May 2013 to November 2017, where responsibilities included supporting formulation and process challenges across a network of development sites in Europe and North America. Kaspar's experience also encompasses serving as R&D Director for Europe at Banner Pharmacaps, overseeing the development of oral drug delivery technologies, and working at Schering Plough as a Global CMC project leader. Early career achievements include leading a drug product team at Schering-Plough Research Institute and conducting PhD research at Organon Pharmaceuticals, where Kaspar obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Utrecht University in 2004. Additional educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in the same field from Utrecht University.
