Scott Binford

Scott Binford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of biotechnology and laboratory applications. Currently serving as a Field Applications Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific since November 2014, Scott has previously held roles such as Technical Support Specialist at Nanosphere, where training and support of the Verigene system were provided. Prior experience includes serving as Field Applications Scientist II at Pacific Biosciences, where project design advice for sequencing was given, and Field Applications Specialist at Roche Diagnostics, where significant reagent sales growth was achieved. Additional roles include Senior Scientific Team Leader at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, overseeing a DNA sequencing lab, and various research technician positions at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Case Western Reserve University. Scott holds a Master of Science degree in Physiology from The University of Akron.
