Valentin Kopanarov

Valentin Kopanarov serves as Associate Director of Pharmacovigilance at Thermo Fisher Scientific since December 2021, following the company's acquisition of PPD, where Valentin has held a similar role since May 2012. With extensive experience in overseeing pharmacovigilance operations, managing teams, and providing strategic support for safety management, Valentin has led various training and mentoring initiatives while ensuring contract management and performance sustainability. Previous positions include Senior Manager and Pharmacovigilance Manager, overseeing global projects and regulatory compliance, and Valentin began the career as a pharmacist. Currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health, Valentin holds a Master's degree in Pharmacy from the Medical University of Sofia.
