Garth Erlam has a diverse work experience in the gaming and telecommunications industries. Garth started their career at Electronic Arts in 2007 as a Localization Tester, ensuring that games were properly translated and localized across different languages.

After that, Erlam moved on to Slant Six Games in 2008, where they worked as a Dev Support/Design, providing feedback on game quality and creating checklists and test cases for internal and external use on various titles.

In 2010, Erlam joined Piranha Games as a Community Manager, Designer, and Developer Support. Garth was responsible for managing the community, interacting with players, and representing the company through forums, messages, and emails. Additionally, Erlam provided support and development assistance for the game Duke Nukem Forever during their time at Piranha Games.

Erlam then worked at A Thinking Ape in 2014 as a Community Service Representative, handling email support requests, responding to player feedback, and contributing to workflow improvement.

From 2015 to 2016, Erlam worked at The Coalition as a Senior QA Tester, and then briefly served as a Technical Service Representative at Shaw Communications.

Most recently, Erlam joined Hothead Games in 2017 as a Senior QA Tester, where they oversaw testing teams, worked closely with design and engineering departments, and coordinated with outsourced teams. Garth also played a crucial role in the interview and hiring process for QA positions at the company.

Erlam is currently working at theScore as a QA Analyst Prime, which started in 2023.

Garth Erlam obtained an Advanced Diploma in Game Design from the Art Institute of Vancouver in 2005-2006. During the same period, they also completed an Advanced Diploma in Game Art and Design at the same institute.
