Peter Hastie

Peter Hastie began their work experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley in 2006, where they conducted experiments and created image analysis software. Peter then worked as an Intern at Eike Consulting, where they developed and animated a Flash leaderboard widget. Following that, they completed an Internship at Autofuss, where they incorporated augmented reality elements into business cards and created interactive Flash installations. Peter then joined Eveo as a Sr Flash Developer, leading a team and creating interactive Flash experiences. Peter also worked as an Independent Consultant at REDSHIFT Digital, modifying kiosk applications and providing ongoing support. Peter later joined Loomis Group as an Interactive Developer, contributing to projects like Stubhub's social concert finder. Peter also taught software practices as a Directed Study Instructor at the Academy of Art University. Peter then joined Bleacher Report, starting as a Frontend Developer and moving up to roles such as Platform Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, during which they reduced costs and presented at conferences. Peter then worked as an Engineering Manager at WarnerMedia before joining theScore in the same role.

Peter Hastie completed their Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology at the University of Bristol from 1998 to 2002. Peter then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a PhD in Anatomy from 2002 to 2006.
