Michelle Flacks (she/her)

Michelle Flacks has a diverse work experience history. Michelle began their career as a Graphic Designer at Erric Sorelle Studios Ltd from June 2011 to August 2013. Michelle then worked as an Adobe Representative at Adobe from September 2013 to May 2014. Following that, they joined Resource/Ammirati, An IBM Company as a Jr. Art Director, where they gained real-world experience within an agency environment, working on various projects from January 2015 to January 2017. Michelle then worked at IBM iX as a UX/UI Designer from September 2017 to May 2018. Michelle later freelanced as a Designer from May 2010 to the present. In 2018, they joined Thinx Inc. as a UX Designer and was promoted to Senior UX Designer in March 2020. Michelle is currently working part-time as an Instructor for the UI Design and UX Design Certificate Programs at the Fashion Institute of Technology, starting in January 2021 and July 2021, respectively.

Michelle Flacks has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Michelle also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Communication Design from the same institution.
