Daisuke Irie

Daisuke Irie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Daisuke currently works at Thirdverse as a Creative Design freelancer since March 2021. Before that, they worked at Rakuten as a Senior Manager from September 2019 to March 2021. Prior to Rakuten, they held various positions at CyberAgent, Inc. from August 2015 to September 2019, including General Manager of the 3D Division and Creative Director/Project Manager. From December 2014 to June 2015, they worked at 株式会社フェモア as a 取締役/CTO/CIO. Daisuke also gained experience at GREE, Inc. from February 2012 to November 2014, serving as a Director/Project Manager and Security Officer. Additionally, they worked at Moblyng from July 2010 to January 2012 as a Senior Interaction Designer and 3D Character/Environment Artist. Daisuke also has a background in freelancing and held roles such as an iPhone game modeler in CA, USA in February 2010 and as a Mobile Content Director/E-commerce professional in Hiroshima, Japan from June 2000 to August 2007. In 2005, they worked for Balmunc Online Games as a Project Manager and 3D Environment Artist, contributing to game project management, game system design, environment art, and strategic planning.

Daisuke Irie began their education at Kure National College of Technology, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1999 to 2002. After completing this program, they transferred to De Anza College from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Liberal Arts. Subsequently, they enrolled at the Academy of Art University from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Fine Art in Animation & Visual Effects with a specialization in 3D Game modeling.
