Dan Ginsberg, SHRM-SCP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different companies and roles.
Dan currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Thomas James Homes, starting in 2022.
Prior to this, Dan served as a Principal Partner at eGage Human Capital Consulting from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they focused on people strategies, particularly in Supply Chain with a focus on ECommerce, Retail, Distribution, Transportation, and Reverse Logistics.
From 2020 to 2020, Dan worked as the Head of Talent at Shake Shack, where they were responsible for various aspects of talent management, including culture, engagement, talent acquisition, talent development, and diversity and inclusion. During their tenure, they designed and launched DEI infrastructure and tools, developed a 3-tiered Competency Model, and implemented various diversity recruiting strategies.
From 2007 to 2019, Dan held various leadership positions at Macy's, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, they led a team of over 400 colleagues and was responsible for HR services, administration, compliance, labor relations, HR technology, and analytics. During their time at Macy's, they also served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Logistics, Credit, Customer Service & Corporate Services, and as the Vice President of Human Resources for Logistics and Operations.
Prior to their time at Macy's, Dan worked at Linens N Things, where they served as the Vice President of Human Resources and later as the Vice President of Learning and Development. In these roles, they oversaw various HR activities such as organizational planning, workforce planning, staffing, employee relations, career development, and performance management. Dan also led the development of proprietary assessment tools and created a university focused on orientation and development.

Dan Ginsberg, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. In addition to their academic background, Dan has obtained various certifications, including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM, and the Licensed Analyst of the Predictive Index Index System from The Predictive Index.
