Katie Deschaine

Katie Deschaine has a diverse and extensive work experience. Katie is currently employed as a Senior Epic Product Director at Thomas Jefferson University since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System for several roles, including Senior Director IS Applications from 2019 to 2021, Director of Applications from 2017 to 2019, Senior Applications Manager - Epic Radiant & Optime/Anesthesia from 2015 to 2017, and Application Manager - Epic Shared Services from 2014 to 2015. Before joining Penn Medicine, they were a Senior Consultant at Nordic Consulting Partners, Inc from 2012 to 2014, where they served as an IT Security Coordinator for ThedaCare and Users and Security Lead for Yale New Haven Hospital. Prior to that, they worked as a Health Information Exchange Program Manager at Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers from 2011 to 2012 and as a Project Manager at Epic from 2009 to 2011.

Katie Deschaine studied Sociology with a focus on Social Work and Education at the University of South Carolina. Katie later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Saint Joseph's University from 2015 to 2017.
